What’s new at Les Grandes Rousses?
The renovation works we started in 2012 are entering their final phase at the Hotel Grandes Rousses, allowing us to offer our guests even more comfort, as well as a number of new features and innovations.
As soon as you step inside, you cannot help but notice the transformation: the lobby is adorned in the warm chocolate, red and copper tones of the Grandes Rousses massif.
The Wine & Cheese Bar "Aux Grands Rouges" innovates by suggesting an outdoor aperitif with champagne, "surf and turf" tapas, cocktails with or without alcohol and a waffles stand. Ski-in access with live music every evening from 4 pm.
Higher up on the three floors of the hotel, which back right onto the mountains, all of our guest rooms have been renovated in a modern mountain chalet style: a multitude of shades of red inspired by the red dolomite rock that gives the Grandes Rousses ("Great Reds") massif its name.
The menu has also had an overhaul and the restaurant itself has been revamped. Our restaurant, "L’Espérance des Grandes Rousses" has been completely restructured: intimate alcoves and large group tables sit side by side, offering a breathtaking view of the mountains. Here, too, the emphasis is on wood, copper and ochre. The restaurant also features a beautiful fireplace and now offers direct access from the street for guests who are not staying at the hotel.
The restaurant also has one more new addition on the terrace: "Heated glass and wood bubbles" – a unique space where you can enjoy a dinner with family or friends in an intimate space under the starry sky or the freshly fallen snow.
